Beta terms

A few ground rules for sharing good taste.

Effective October 18, 2026. These terms govern the LsUp NYC beta, operated by David. Contact elbazadavid@gmail.com. By using the beta, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Who the beta is for

You must be at least 18, use an account you control, and provide accurate account and residence information. You are responsible for protecting access to your email and sign-in codes. Never share a code with the operator or another member.

Contributing to LsUp

Verified NYC residence is required for local ratings, structured opinions, and daily answers. A request, invitation, chosen city, or GPS visit is not proof of residence. Verification can expire or be withdrawn if inaccurate. City-only verification does not confer neighborhood or walking-distance eligibility.

Give honest restaurant opinions based on your experience. Do not manipulate ratings, create fake accounts or votes, scrape the service, impersonate others, post spam or promotional links, or submit unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive content. Do not include someone’s private information or residence evidence. You retain your contributions and permit LsUp to store, display, aggregate, and moderate them to operate the service.

Safety and moderation

Use Report or block beside a member or rating, or enter a username in Account → Safety & blocked members. Restaurant pages also allow information reports. Reports are private to the operator. Blocking removes the connection, prevents new friend requests in either direction, and hides the member’s content in your signed-in experience. It does not make previously public information confidential.

We may hide content, suspend accounts, or withdraw access for abuse or violations. Contact support if you believe a decision is mistaken. We review reports during the beta; this service is not monitored continuously and is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

Restaurant information and bookings

Restaurant details, photos, opening hours, availability, and member opinions may be incomplete or change. Confirm important details directly with the restaurant. LsUp is not a restaurant, booking guarantee, or party to a booking made elsewhere. External reservations, cancellations, payments, and disputes are handled by the relevant restaurant or provider.

Google Maps features and content are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Respect displayed Google and photographer attribution and third-party rights.

A service in testing

The beta is provided as available and may have bugs, interruptions, or changing features. It is currently free to members. We will communicate any future paid offer before you choose to purchase it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular result from recommendations. Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

You can stop using LsUp and delete your account in Account. We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes. Questions and appeals can be sent to the operator using the contact above.
